    • Grid-tie versus off-grid configuration:

      • A grid-tie inverter will feed excess energy into the electricity grid when your wind turbine produces excess power. In most areas your utility company will give you credit for the excess.

      • An off-grid inverter is not connected to the grid and stores excess energy in batteries.

    • Custom tower heights and roof mounts adaptable to most roof types are available.

    • In addition, 2nd Generation VAWTs are offered in a variety of color choices: White, Titanium, Graphite, or a custom color.

  3. Easy installation:
    • A quality local contractor will be able to erect the wind turbine, and a local electrician will be able to connect the wind turbine to your home or building. We can assist you in finding local installers or contractors.

  4. Shipping:
    • Shipment is made to most global locations within 8-10 weeks

  5. Minimum maintenance is required:
    • Within one month of installation, the wind turbine should be stopped and all joints inspected to ensure they are secure.

    • Inspection repeats every 12 months thereafter, or if output unexpectedly decreases and/or if the wind turbine begins making noise.

    • The wind turbine's performance can be monitored on your computer with addition of an Easy Control unit.

  6. Warranty
    • One year warranty is included with the wind turbine

    • A five year extended warranty is also available

    • The wind turbine is expected to last at least 20 years when maintained properly
