Urban Green Energy (UGE), a New York City-based company, has produced a hybrid solution to help blow away the energy inefficiencies that exist within the power industry – the Sanya wind/solar hybrid streetlamp. The streetlamp combines a vertical axis wind turbine with solar panels to create an adaptable and versatile solution for government and commercial lighting.
