Little Turbines Promise Big Change

          As proud supporters of the Green Movement, we are always on the lookout for organizations and companies that align with our mission for a more sustainable earth. This morning, we received an email from Urban Green Energy, a company that focuses on small wind energy and renewable energy systems. We learned some really interesting facts from them about green energy and more specifically small wind turbines that we wanted to share with you! 

          Did you know that the United States is the world leader in the production of small wind turbines? And the industry is expected to grow at over 40% per year. This allows people to generate their own power, cut energy bills and produce clean, emissions-free electricity.

          What other things can wind turbines be used for? Street lighting, telecoms, agriculture and much more.
