Urban Green Energy is the world’s leading supplier in the fast growing vertical axis wind turbine industry. The company’s headquarters are located in New York City, not far from Times Square.  We enjoy sharing our knowledge and the experiences of our fun and dynamic office with the college students who join us through our internship program. 

Urban Green Energy is now accepting applications from civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering students who are interested in being a part of either the summer or fall internship program.  In particular, we seek ambitious individuals who have experience with power electronics, circuit drawing, manufacturing, quality control, technical writing, aerodynamics, or computer modeling (AutoCAD, Solidworks or ProE).  Accepted applicants will be involved in the full range of activities of the engineering department including product development, design, documentation, site visits, and testing.  Start and end dates are flexible, although we do request that applicants can commit to at least a three month internship to ensure that the experience is meaningful.  UGE prides itself on being able to provide its interns with real world, hands-on experience that allows them to compete for sought after green jobs in this exciting industry.
